Pizza Riots

Here are some highlights from our week.  The rat from the kitchen is now dead, but it picked a horrible place to die.  It is under the cabinet stinking up the WHOLE kitchen.  I am not sure how we can remove it unless we take the cabinet apart.  It is a horrid smell.

Friday Sophie made a “pizza” for one of the teachers at school for April’s Fools Day.  It was strawberry jam, and coconut and granola.  She had great fun delivering that.

Saturday we took some extra kids and our kids and went to the beach.  That is by far one of my very favoritest ways to spend a day.  The weather was absolutely perfect, and for most of the day we had the beach all to ourselves.  I will SO miss going there when we leave.

There was a bit of a scare last night.  Garth is a part of a volleyball league in town.  One of the teams that played last night lost and got mad and started a riot in town.  All of the stores quickly closed down, many of them had rocks thrown through their windows.  They started a fire in the street and smashed parts of the house on the volleyball property and the referee hut, and the nets.  We were all told to stay home and not go out, but by morning all was calmed down.  Garth is supposed to have a game on Tuesday however, I wouldn’t be surprised if the tournament was cancelled.  We will see.
