Internet is Back

Hello. We finally have our internet back!!! Woo hoo!! It is definitely a blessing to be connected with everyone again. There were a few government buildings that had internet so I could write emails at home and then drive around looking for a signal and quick try to send them but this is much better!
I hope you are all well. We are in the home stretch here which brings up a mixture of feelings. This is Emma's last year and I am so not ready to say good-bye, but I am ready for a break. This has been a difficult year for us. Very trying and stretching, which has left us quite exhausted. Please pray for us as we have just over 2 weeks left.
Cale has been sick a lot this year with dengue, stomach infections, his second concussion and now he has mono. His little body is so skinny and he is tired of being sick. Please join us in praying for healing.
We have had a lot of good times of connecting as a dorm lately. Last weekend we went to the beach, grilled chicken and stayed to watch the sunset. That was amazing! We also had three birthdays this last month including Emma's. She turned 18. She is a such a beautiful, kind hearted young lady. I am so blessed to be her Mother.
One of the difficult things about living here is that there is always a lot of hard goodbyes. This year especially we will be losing some very special people here in the community-some of our dear friends. As much as you try to prepare your heart for that year after year, it is still incredibly hard.
Wyatt is finished with his first year of college (Wow!) and is now in Wisconsin to work. We will be going on furlough this summer! (Yahoo!) We have about 10 weeks and will be spending it in Wis., New York, Idaho, and Oregon. It will be fantastic to see you all again. We really need this break. At the end of the summer, Sophie, Cale and I will fly back to Papua, Wyatt will start his second year at Corban, and Garth will drive Emma from Oregon to Arkansas where she will be attending JBU. We have lots of details to work out with all of that, but we are trusting that God is in control.
Well, happy day to you!
We just might see you soon!
