I am happy to report that we have a new kitty! Garth got it for me for my birthday. It fits right in here, since he came to us with many injuries. His leg got caught under a gate and is badly hurt, his tail got mostly cut off, his one eye is swollen and he was rescued from 2 dogs by our friend Scott. The little peanut is only a few weeks old-I think he is already on life # 4 or 5. We are thrilled to have him and will be naming him shortly. The kids are really enjoying having a pet again. I am anxious to have the vet look at him to help me better know how to treat him. It is interesting...I went from taking care of Yanis' foot, to taking care of Garth's side, to treating Sophie's burn,to a kitty's leg. Great fun!
