You haven't heard from me for awhile because I was chillin' and relaxin'. Where? In Bali!!!!!! We planned to surprise my family and meet them at the airport in Bali and then hang out together for a few days in a hotel there. It was awesome. My sister and Dad knew about it but my Mom didn't. She thought that they were landing in Bali and then flying right to Sentani, but we were there to rush up and greet them with BIG hugs and kisses. We got to Bali a day before them on the 5th and they came on the 6th and we all stayed until the 11th. We stayed in a wonderful hotel with quite a few pools and a waterslide.
It was the most amazing time to hang out with family, eat American food, swim, tan, walk by the beach....I am SO thankful for this opportunity. How often can you do something like that? We will never forget it!
Then we all flew here-there is only one flight out of Bali to Sentani and it is at 1:30 in the morning-that was the only bummer of the whole trip. And now we are all together in Sentani. Who would have thought this day would ever come!!!!!
We are going to have our family Christmas today. I brought a turkey back from Bali so we are making a big feast and Mom and Dad and Carlena brought our presents and we have presents for them so we will have Christmas in January-either we are late for this year or real early for next-either way it's going to be fun!!!!!!!!
I will try to post some pictures from our time in Bali on the blog for you all.
