Here

We are here!  We finally made it!  What an ordeal-Our travel agent only gave us an hour in Atlanta to get our bags, and go through Immigration and Customs, and then catch our flight to Milwaukee.  We asked her about that before the trip but she said it would be enough time.  However, our flight was late getting in so we wound up missing the flight to Milwaukee.  The agent at the Atlanta airport said that she may be able to get us all on a standby flight otherwise we wouldn’t get out until 8:30 the next morning.  Ugh!  So there we sat, waiting, and waiting…she told us there were five seats available, but we needed six.  So we prayed and waited.  Then we were told that one person didn’t show up, so there were six spots.  YEAH- Thank you Lord.  So we all got on the flight and people moved around so that we could be together.  But before we could even take off we were told that there was an electrical storm outside and all workers had to go inside until it cleared.  So we waited on the tarmac for about thirty minutes and then began our last and final flight HOME!

How amazing to come around the corner and see my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Words can’t even describe to you how wonderful it is to be home.  What a blessing!  What a treat!

The kids are having fun remembering everything-the smells, the feelings of soft grass that you can lay on, carpet, foods that they had forgotten about, have McDonalds, go to Wal-Mart…and most importantly--they got to meet their cousin Annie for the first time.  That is so very special.

We are loving every single minute of this trip and are so thankful God got us all here safely.

Thanks for praying us here.

Love

Rachel
