Day 3 Kosarek

Day 3 of OE in the village of Kosarek
We were able to work with a group of older kids that have been going through a literacy program in the village.  The missionary families have been doing an amazing job of working with the kids teaching them how to read and write. We broke up into groups and were given the instructions that we had one hour to teach them something, and have them teach us something and then we were going to give a presentation in front of everyone of what we learned. We decided to learn a song in Bahasa Mek, (their village language), and then learn it in Bahasa Indonesian, and finally in Bahasa English. We based the song off of the verse James 1:19- 
 “ My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”



















In the afternoon we hiked to a nearby village called Waseltek to do a Kid's Club and hang out with the people.















It was such a beautiful day holding babies, sitting with Mamas, and kicking the ball with the young gentlemen of these two villages.
